Kick Pain in the Kitchen, as well as the Medicine Cabinet
June 20 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm$15
We will be hosting a workshop to address dietary issues relevant to arthritis. Food, combined with medication therapies and motivation to participate in appropriate exercise habits, are key elements of arthritis management.
Arthritis affects 54 million Americans and disproportionately affects women: 26% versus 18% of men. Some foods increase inflammation in joints. Many remedies are helpful, some a waste of money. Stiffness, pain and balance can be improved with some simple activities.
Want to decrease your arthritis problems?
Learn ways to reduce pain through nutrition, exercise and medical treatment.
- Dr. Brad Bushnell, Orthopedic Surgeon Harbin Clinic will discuss treatment options.
- Cala Dittmer, Harbin Clinic Registered Dietitian will share everyday food ideas to reduce inflammatory pain.
